By default, SQL Server 2005 Express is installed as a named instance with instance name "SQLExpress". So if SQL Server 2005 Express is not installed as the default instance, then SQL Server 2005 Developer edition can still be installed as the default instance.

I don't know how to do this. MSDE 2000 had command line parameters to specify the instance name, but the readme for SQL 2005 doesn't list any setup parameters, and I am not given an option during isntallation.
I already have Express isntalled with instance name SQLEXPRESS. I also have MSDE installed with instance name MSDE2000.
|||Check the file template.ini (at the same location as setup.exe) for all parameters and sample command lines to setup SQL Server 2005.
